I had no problems with the linux servers... the AD it's always giving. Maybe it does not have the right license :-D eh eh eh

I have 3 linux/xen based servers for virtualization the company develop teams (most of the VMs are Windows of course), 1 linux server for the company site, etc ... only one server is windows, the domain server, but I want to kill that bastard :-D

You should upgrade you Windows license to a Linux license :-p

@BUGabundo: why you say it was a hw problem? sure, the PDA was allways on and off. but that was the HAL/UDEV that was allways trying to load the module. But the NM just freaked out. So there are 2 problems hal and nm before going to the hw :-p

@bugabundo: maybe the problem is that the PDA was swithing on and off when editing the connections so it confused the nm because it generates a 'Auto ...' entry automaticly (in my opinion bad). After that strange thing have happen, duplicated connection settings, 'Auto Ethenet' connection settings, despairing connection settins... in the end it did not detect hardware anymore... bah... I blacklisted rndis_host and I'm going to do a reboot for testing...

in nm 0.7 the "Edit connections..." is useless because it does not work and it will break nm. I had to dhclient eth0 manually to have network now

nm 0.6 worked !!

NetworkManager does not work very well. After a awake of a suspend mode sometimes the applet is not present and I have no network. And now I was charging my PDA and because NM was switching from wired and the pda network I tried to configure to ignore de PDA (disable for that MAC address the automatically connection)... now the NM does not detect network devices.... it sucks!!
